Abacus is comprised of around 370 strands of knotted paper yarn, equating to approximately 15,000 hand-tied knots. Using knots as a symbol of imperfection, Abacus aims to acknowledge the human habit of counting up our imperfections and errors and holding onto these as a measure of our selves.
