An ongoing series of handwoven dobby and jacquard panels inspired by the Japanese aesthetic 'kintsukuroi': the art of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver lacquer and the understanding that the object is more beautiful for having been broken.
The panels work as a beautiful and visually interesting feature for people to view both from a distance and up close, as intimate woven details are revealed.
